Not quite sure what the PTA is or does? You’re not alone, a lot of us felt that way before we got involved ourselves!
Here’s a little about what we do:
Student Enrichment:
We organize and fund educational and wellness programs (aka: assemblies!) for all staff and students to enjoy.
Coordinate and hold fun events like Fall Fest & Jaguar Games
Create a yearbook to preserve memories (so our kids can track down their friend’s name in 20 years).
Fund activities for field day
Volunteer in various forms to facilitate student learning (book fairs, in classrooms, etc).
Staff Appreciation:
Providing monthly appreciation events to show our gratitude for helping raise our children
Organizing welcome back events and fun treats throughout the year
Facilitate and promote Teacher Appreciation Week celebrations amongst our students and families
Coordinate and organize volunteers as needed for our teachers and staff
Community Building
& Fundraising:
Creating a space to bring parents, teachers, staff, and administrators together
Assisting with school and community involvement projects
From a holiday shopping experience for our students to a full blown community fall festival, we work together to create family-friendly events that are genuinely fun while furthering our mission.
