For over 50 years, the National PTA Reflections program has celebrated and recognized the creative talents of student artists, providing unique opportunities to recognize student artists for their artistic skills and creative vision. With the program's unique focus on interpretation on the theme, Reflections encourages and celebrates students to use the arts to explore their own thoughts, feelings and ideas, develop artistic literacy, increase confidence and find a love for learning.

Through the National PTA Reflections program, PTAs at all levels invite student artists to submit original works of art inspired by the annual theme. After an artwork review, PTAs announce and celebrate winners and advance winners to potentially receive state and national recognition.
